Development in Kanata
Kanata was mainly an agricultural based location, till the 1960’s when commercial development took over and designed a complete rural land with modeled buildings that would shape the community. Unlike many other Ottawa suburban areas, Kanata was developed to incorporate a mixture of both residential and commercial developments that would use empty space and create a uniquely designed community. Marnie Bennett, from the Bennett Property Shop Realty held an important role in the design, development and marketing for Kanata.
