Not afraid of a challenge, Mary will champion the rights of her clients and not bow down to the big boys. While her client’s neighbours were accepting offers from MOT (prior to expropriation) Mary personally arranged a meeting with the ministry ‘suits’ and negotiated 25,000 more for her client.
When her client was not given a fair opportunity to purchase a property, and Mary was told “it can’t be done” she challenged the Bankruptcy Trust Company involved in the sale and succeeded in having a previous accepted offer overturned in favour of her clients offer.

When clients with a limited budget approached Mary to help find them a home, the only thing they could afford was a vacant, overlooked house needing lots of TLC.
